Whether you’re into clawing your way up mountains, sliding down them, jumping off the top – or watching others do it – Kendal Mountain Festival, from 16 – 19 November, is a must! This gathering of adventure sports fans has been going since the 1980s and these days over 12,000 people head for this scenic Lake District town each November to catch up on all things adrenaline.

The event is truly international with filmmakers, adventurers and lecturers gathering from around the world.

‘Kendal’ is the biggest event of its type in the world & it’s the main social event for outdoor enthusiasts in the UK


You can expect some of the world’s top adventurers, climbers and mountaineers plus stars from across the outdoor world including bikers, canoeists, skiers, paragliders and cavers.

Kendal Mountain Festival promises plenty of quality film action to look forward to as well, with new movies from the UK’s top filmmakers, plus of course the cream of new releases from around the world.
